Waiting For The Uncertain NasDem-Democrat-PKS Can Be Declarationd Anies Baswedan Become A Presidential Candidate

Secretary-General of the Democratic Party, Teuku Riefky Harsya hopes that the coalition with the Nasdem Party and PKS can immediately declare Anies Baswedan as a presidential candidate for the 2024 election.

"We hope that the three parties will immediately sign support for Anies Baswedan as a presidential candidate," said Teuku Riefky Harsya after a meeting with a small coalition team at Anies Baswedan's house, Jakarta, Friday, January 27, as reported by Antara.

Currently, the Democrats continue to push for the realization of the declaration because the adequacy of the presidential nomination threshold of 20 percent is very important.

"We are sure that PKS and Nasdem will also move," he said.

According to him, accelerating the declaration is very important to further be glorified and distributed to all supporters and the people of Indonesia.

Riefky emphasized that during the meeting, his party emphasized the commitment and position of Chairman of the Democratic Party Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono, who clearly promoted Anies Baswedan as a presidential candidate in the 2024 election.

However, Teuku Riefky Harsya could not say when the declaration took place.

Previously, the former Governor of DKI as well as the future presidential candidate for the NasDem Party Anies Baswedan met representatives of a small coalition team at his home, South Jakarta, Friday afternoon.

Present at the meeting, Sudirman Said as Anies Baswedan's spokesman, Secretary General of the DPP Democratic Party Teuku Riefky Harsya, Deputy Chairman of the PKS Shura Council Sohibul Iman, and NasDem Party DPP chairman Sugeng Suparwoto.
