Two perpetrators of the burglary of truck drivers named Saiful (33) and Iqfa (31) are still undergoing examination at the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Cengkareng Police. From the results of the investigation, it turned out that the two perpetrators often changed groups in carrying out their actions.

The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Cengkareng Police, AKP Ali, said that his party received information that several names (groups of perpetrators of burglary) often acted in the area.

"There are names but we are investigating them again. Because there are often changing people. They are in groups but often change people," said AKP Ali to VOI, Thursday, January 26, evening.

From the cages of the perpetrators, they had been in action for 3 months at the scene. Their target is a truck from outside Jakarta. They looked for it through the vehicle number plate.

"The confessions of the perpetrators, they have only been 3 months (rejecting truck drivers) there. Yes, several times residents have reported to the police. So there are frequent (vulnerable) incidents," he said.

During the arrest, the police did not find any sharp weapons from the perpetrator's body.

"Both of them are not recidivists. However, one of the perpetrators with the initials S was found positive for drugs from the urine test results," he said.

Previously, it was reported that the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Cengkareng Police arrested two perpetrators of illegal burglary or levies (extortion) against truck drivers in the Jalan Kayu Besar area, Cengkareng, West Jakarta.

The arrests of the perpetrators were made due to reports from residents to the police on Wednesday, January 25.

Based on the report, the police immediately went to the scene and immediately arrested the perpetrators.

The arrest of the perpetrators was also recorded by the residents' amateur cameras. Based on the footage, it was seen that members of the police dressed freely carrying long-barreled weapons immediately arrested the perpetrators.

The perpetrators of extortion fought back and struggled until they fell on the asphalt. However, thanks to the alertness of the officers, the perpetrators were arrested.
