Needs Of Pupuk Urea And Phonska In Karawang In 2023 Capai 88,166 Tons
The Department of Agriculture and Food Security of Karawang Regency, West Java, said the allocation of subsidized fertilizer needs in the Karawang area in 2023 reached 88,166 tons.
"The allocation of subsidized fertilizer needs is urea and Phonska," said Secretary of the Karawang Agriculture and Food Security Service Edi Suryana as quoted by Antara, Thursday, January 26.
He said, the allocation of urea fertilizer needs in Karawang this year was 58,505 tons and Phonska was 29,661 tons.
The allocation of subsidized fertilizers is to meet the needs of fertilizers in 30 sub-districts around Karawang.
In accordance with data on the allocation of fertilizer needs in 2023 of the Karawang Agriculture and Food Security Service, the largest allocation of subsidized fertilizers is in Tempuran and Tirtajaya sub-districts.
In Tirtajaya District, the allocation of subsidized fertilizer needs reaches 3,406 tons urea and Phonska 1,636 tons. Then in Tempuran District, 3,669 tons urea and 2,011 tons Phonska.
Meanwhile, this year's allocation of subsidized fertilizers is at least in Cikampek District, namely 243 ureas and 177 Phonska.
Edi said the total allocation of the need for subsidized fertilizer per sub-district is in accordance with the area of rice fields in each sub-district.
Based on data from the Karawang Agriculture and Food Security Service, the total area of rice fields in Karawang reaches 95,000 hectares.
The average rice production in Karawang is 7-8 tons per hectare, and the total production in a year reaches 1.3 million tons on average.
At the beginning of this year, PT Pupuk Indonesia prepared subsidized fertilizer stocks up to line III with a total of 1,454,828 tons.
The stock of subsidized fertilizer consists of two types, namely urea as much as 992,791 tons and 462,937 tons of NPK.
