The Viral TNI Service Car Changes The Plate Number For The Fill Of Pertalite, Pertamina: Subsidized Fuel Only For Rights!
JAKARTA - Not long ago a short video circulated showing a driver who changed the license plate of the TNI service vehicle with an ordinary number plate when he was about to fill Pertalite type of fuel oil (BBM) at Pertamina's gas station. Responding to this, Pertamina's party opened its voice.
PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Corporate Secretary Irto Ginting when contacted by VOI, asked the public to use fuel according to the specifications of the vehicle that had been determined.
"We urge people to use fuel in accordance with vehicle specifications. So that subsidized fuel can be used by eligible people," said Irto via text message, Tuesday, January 24.
Based on VOI reports, previously the Downstream Oil and Gas Regulatory Agency (BPH Migas) and Pertamina stated that they were working on new regulations regarding restrictions on the purchase of Pertalite type fuel oil (BBM). This is done so that the subsidies provided by the government are right on target.
The regulation also regulates that luxury cars that buy Pertalite will be specified from the amount of the cubic centimeter (CC) of each car.
Head of BPH Migas Erika Retnowati revealed that related parties are also working on the revision of Presidential Regulation (Perpres) Number 191 of 2014 concerning the provision, distribution, and selling price of retail fuel oil (BBM).
In addition to luxury cars, said Erika, vehicles that will also be prohibited from using Pertalite are official vehicles belonging to the TNI, Polri, and SOEs.
