In 2 Days 2 Suspected Of Being The Dealer Of Methamphetamine In Singkawang Diringkus, Police Duga Pemain Baru
The Singkawang Police have arrested two men with the initials TNM and fire in two days related to cases of drug abuse of methamphetamine. It is suspected that each played a role as a dealer.
"The two suspects did not have contact with each other, we managed to secure the two different crime scenes in mid-January 2023," said Deputy Chief of Singkawang Police Commissioner Raden Real Mahendra, in Singkawang, West Kalimantan (West Kalimantan), Tuesday, January 24.
Raden revealed that the first arrest was made of the suspect TNM on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at around 21.00 WIB.
"The suspect was detained in Pasiran Village, West Singkawang District. At that time the suspect was considering evidence of methamphetamine with a net weight of 0.86 grams. According to his confession, the drug was ready to be circulated," he said.
Then, the next day, Wednesday, January 18, at around 04.30 WIB, a member of the Singkawang Police arrested the suspect. The suspect was arrested in Sungai Garam Hilir Village, North Singkawang District.
The arrest was made when the suspect was riding a motorcycle. "When searched, members managed to find evidence of methamphetamine with a net weight of 10.02 grams," he said.
Kompol Raden said the two suspects were new players. In the criminal record at the police, both of them were only caught by the law this time.
"Based on the confessions of the two suspects, the narcotics sale activity has only been running for 3 months," he explained.
For his actions, the Singkawang Police charged the two suspects with a minimum sentence of 4 years and a maximum of 20 years in prison.
Suspects TNM were threatened with Articles 114 and 112 paragraph 1 of Law no. 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics. Meanwhile, the suspects were suspected of Articles 114 and 112 paragraph 2 of the Narcotics Law.
