LSI Survey: Ganjar's Electability In Puncak, Prabowo And Anies Kejalanan
JAKARTA - The Indonesian Survey Institute (LSI) has photographed public support for a number of figures as presidential candidates in the general election through its latest poll.
In January 2023, Ganjar Pranowo's electability was at the first level, namely 27.2 percent in the simulation of the president's choice with 19 names presented. After that, Anies Baswedan was in second place and Prabowo Subianto was in third place.
"Ganjar was chosen the most, namely 27.2 percent, then Anies 16.8 percent, Prabowo Subianto 16 percent, Ridwan Kamil 7.3 percent, and other names less than 3 percent. Around 18.1 percent have not shown their choice," said LSI Executive Director Djayadi Hanan in a virtual survey presentation, Sunday, January 22.
However, there was a change in the sequence of electability in the simulation of 10 names of figures. From this simulation, Ganjar still ranks first with 29.2 percent support. Meanwhile, Prabowo is in second place at 19.4 percent and Anies at 19.4 percent.
"For 10 names, they changed slightly in number two and number three. So, Prabowo and Anies chased each other and their positions were fought in second place with similar levels of support," explained Djayadi.
Prabowo and Anies' position was again seen in the simulation of the support of three presidential candidates. Ganjar remained the most elected, namely 36.3 percent. Then Anies again overtook second place with 24.2 percent and Prabowo in third place with 23.2 percent support.
"So, Prabowo and Anies in January 2023 are in a position that is pursuing each other or competitive. Meanwhile, Ganjar is still ahead even though he is not dominant," he explained.
For information, this survey was conducted by telephone on 7-11 January 2023. The population of this survey is Indonesian citizens aged 17 years and over or are married and have a telephone, about 83 percent of the total national population.
A total of 1221 respondents were selected by the random digit dialing (RDD) method. The survey margin of error with the sample size is estimated at 2.9 percent at a 95 percent confidence level.
