A Man Who Flavored His Hands Before Drowning In The Majalengka River Was Found 50 Meters From A Lost Location

MAJALENGKA - The joint SAR team managed to find a man who drowned in the SindUPraja River, Beber Village, Majalengka Regency, West Java (Jabar), Friday, January 20, at around 00.40 WIB.

The Commander of the Cirebon SAR Post Rescue Team, Edy Pamungkas, said the victim was found dead 50 meters from the location and was reported to have drowned on Thursday, January 19, at around 14.00 WIB.

"The victim, named Nuryadi, a resident of Beber Village, Ligung District, Majalengka Regency, was found about 50 meters from the scene," he said in Cirebon, West Java, Friday, January 20, which was confiscated by Antara.

Edy explained that the victim had been taken to the funeral home for burial by the family. Meanwhile, the joint SAR ti consisting of the Cirebon SAR Post Basarnas, TNI, Polri, BPBD, and the community have returned to their respective units.

"After being found, the victim was immediately taken to the funeral home for burial," he said.

According to Edy, when receiving information about the drowning incident, a team from the Cirebon SAR Post departed at 19.30 WIB to the scene.

The tools used for the search include one rescue car unit, one water palsar set, one set of aqua eye and UWSD (under Water Search Device), one set of alkom equipment, one set of medical equipment and personal PPE.

The victim was reported drowned by residents who saw it at 14.00 WIB. The victim had asked for help by waving.

"The witness immediately reported the incident to the local village hall, and then forwarded it to us," he said.
