Getting Cash Assistance From Jokowi, Sate Traders At The Pinasungkulan Market, Manado Joget Gembira

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) distributed social assistance (bansos) to the people at the Pinasungkulan People's Market, Karombasan, Manado City, North Sulawesi (Sulut), Thursday 19 January.

A number of people enthusiastically welcomed the President's arrival in Pinasungkulan. Arriving at the market, the President greeted the traders, buyers, and also the people who had been waiting for his presence.

"Jokowi, Jokowi, Jokowi," shouted the public as the President walked on the market distributing social assistance in the form of basic materials.

A packaged and satay rice trader, totaled Ali, received cash assistance from the President. His voice was delighted by the President's presence at the market.

In fact, he admitted that he did not expect to be given cash assistance by President Jokowi. When he received the help, he immediately danced happily.

"Earlier I offered food, so that you are always healthy and strong", said an Antara.

I am constantly grateful to be able to meet President Jokowi in person. Alhamdulillah. But, I will open it first (the envelope), who knows the speech of the word pearl," he added.

Once opened, a sheet of Rp100,000 appeared. Go back to give thanks. "Alhamdulillah Hirobbil Alamin, Subhanallah," he said.

After distributing basic necessities and cash assistance to traders, the President continued his journey to North Minahasa Regency.

Also accompanying the President to visit the market, Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung, Minister of Public Works and Public Housing Basuki Hadimuljono, Governor of North Sulawesi Olly Dondokambey, and Manado Mayor Andrei Angouw.
