Lukas Enembe Was TAKEn Back To Gatot Soebroto Army Hospital For Consultation

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) said the inactive Papua Governor Lukas Enembe was taken back to the Gatot Soebroto Army Hospital. He will be outpatient.

"LE was taken to the RSPAD only for outpatient treatment on the recommendation of the KPK doctor," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri to reporters, Tuesday, January 17.

Ali ensured that there was no interest or critical condition in Lukas' health. "The person concerned needs to consult and examine a doctor regarding the replacement and addition of the necessary medicines," he said.

Meanwhile, Lukas Enembe's attorney, Petrus Bala Pattyona, claimed that his client's condition had dropped. Thus, the examination that should have been carried out today was not held.

"It can't be checked. So the officer said he was defecating," said Petrus at the KPK's Red and White Building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta today.

Previously, Lukas was detained after he was named a suspect in alleged bribery and gratification in project procurement at the Papua Provincial Government. During his detention, he appeared to be using a wheelchair.

In this case, Lukas allegedly received money from the Director of PT Tabi Bangun Papua, Rijantono Lakka, so that the company would receive a project. It is suspected that this collusion was also carried out with officials in the Papua Provincial Government.

After the project was won, Rijantono handed over Rp1 billion to Lukas. In addition, Lukas is also suspected of receiving gratuities of up to billions of rupiah.
