Citilink Adds Halim Perdanakusuma - Pekanbaru Flight Route

JAKARTA - Citilink Indonesia has opened a direct flight route from Jakarta's Halim Perdanakusuma Airport to Pekanbaru's Sultan Syarif Kasim II International Airport.

Citilink President Director, Dewa Kadek Rai, said this policy is part of Citilink's efforts to provide easy mobility for the community, both for business and inter-regional tourism trips.

"This is clear evidence of Citilink's commitment to providing added value for customers by providing new options for flying from Jakarta to various cities in Indonesia besides going through Soekarno-Hatta International Airport", he said in an official statement quoted on Saturday, January 14.

The flight for the Halim Perdanakusuma route to Pekanbaru operates every day using an Airbus A320 aircraft.

Apart from connecting Halim Perdanakusuma with Pekanbaru, this route is also connected with other routes to other national economic center cities such as Surabaya, Yogyakarta, and Batam. He said the addition of this new route would also complement Citilink's flight network, which currently has 90 routes with 246 flight frequencies every day.
