Bank Muamalat has obtained permission as a acquisitioner from BI to issue a QRIS sticker that can be used by customers who provide Payment Services (PJP) connected to QRIS.
"The QR Code issued by Bank Muamalat can even be used by the community to donate to mosque charity boxes," said Wahyu.
He explained that customers as merchants will be equipped with a special application called Muamalat Merchant App (MMA) to manage payment transactions that are superior in terms of security, namely transaction refund protection using a Personal Identification Number (PIN).
He said 90 percent of Bank Muamalat customer transactions had gone through a digital channel with the majority through the Muamalat DIN application.
