Hayley Williams Calls Paramore C'est Comme Ca Inspired Lattice Act And Dry Cleaning

Paramore shared their new single that fans, C'est Comme Ca. According to frontman Hayley Williams, the song was inspired by lattice Act and Dry Cleaning.

C'est Comme Ca features Williams adopting a sprechsang vocal style (expressionist vocal technique between singing and speaking) for his verses, often used by both bands, as well as other bands in the post-punk genre.

The title translates from the French word "like that" but means closer to the English expression "that's how it is".

I try not to get addicted to the narrative of survival. The idea of an imminent catastrophe is less dangerous to me than not knowing anything about the future or my part in it," Hayley said in his official statement.

"People and I are all in a much more stable place in our lives than ever. And somehow it's more difficult for me to adjust."

Cest Comme Ca is the third single from Paramore's sixth upcoming album This Is Why. This album will be coming on February 10.
