Prince Harry Amoar's Phenomenal Book Of Memoars 1.4 Million Print In A Day

JAKARTA - The phenomenal memoir of Prince Harry - Spare - sold 1.4 million copies in the first day of release. These sales include those from the United States, Britain, and Canada and are sold in various versions.

Launching Variety, publisher master Random House said Harry's memoir was the best-selling of all non-fiction books on the first day of sales. In fact, Spare is said to have passed Barack Obama's memoir, A Promised Land.

The book, which was released on January 10, is available in 16 languages and has various versions ranging from physical to digital.

The sale may be imagined considering Harry revealed everything that happened when he became a member of the British royal family. Starting from a physical argument with Prince William, losing a virgin, to the time he took on cocaine.

His relationship with Meghan Markle was also further explained through the memoir. One of them was when their relationship was revealed to the public when Meghan was still acting in the series Suits.

The royals reportedly asked the scriptwriter to change the scene and what Meghan's character experienced in the series. This change makes creators and writers frustrated by feeling these demands.

Adherent Random House announces today, the English edition Spare memoir from Prince Harry, sold more than 1.430,000 units in various formats in the United States, Canada, and the UK on the first day of release, Tuesday, January 10, 2023," the publisher said.

This book is Harry's new project after working on the Harry & Meghan documentary series with his wife which aired on Netflix.
