Google Brings New Capabilities Screen Recording Features That Can Record Only One App
JAKARTA - Screen recorder apps are quite a necessary tool when someone wants to show or explain something to others. Now Android is reportedly going to bring new capabilities into the screen recording tool.
Usually the built-in screen recording feature on Android or third-party app will record the entire screen when activated, meaning that when the user exits the app, the recording will continue to run.
But now, Google has a feature embedded with the latest Android 13 QPR2 Beta 2 update, there is a new experimental interface (UI) where users can choose a specific one or application to record.
This update, will prevent screen recorders from capturing entire screens that often record content such as incoming notifications, apps on mobile phones and more.
The trial feature shows that there is a feed containing some of the latest apps that users can choose to record the screen quickly. Similar to the Android sharing sheet.
A larger list of apps appears when users expand their feed, they can select any app to record the screen. Android 13 QPR 2 Beta 2 screenshot feed has the title Share or app record.
The screen recording feature certainly gives more privacy when someone is recording the screen on their phone. Quoted from 9To5Google, Thursday, January 12, it is claimed that this new feature will have the same design as the casting feature. That way, privacy will also be increased when transmitting.
