Beat Saber Enters New Game Lineup For PlayStation VR2

JAKARTA - Still at the 2023 Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Sony Interactive Entertainment also revealed the next title that will join the line-up for the PlayStation VR2 game.

In addition to Gran Turismo 7 at PS5, Sony announced that Beat Saber will also be present at the PlayStation VR2. Indie Developer Beat Games Studio has also confirmed this news on Twitter.

While it is unclear whether it will be launched alongside the VR headset on February 22 or not, what is certain is that Beat Saber will also enliven the new PlayStation VR game.

Beat Saber was previously released in May 2019 for PlayStation VR and PC. In this game, players use movement-controlled swords to cut the shining beam following the rhythm of the music.

Beat Saber is an immersive rhythm experience that has an easy-to-understand and very exciting way. You just need to use your sword to trim the beam at every tap as they fly at you.

Each tap shows which sword you need to use and which direction you have to match. Therefore, you need angle adjustments to be able to hit the beam and the direction of the cutting.

You also have to move physically to avoid walls and bombs. Since that launch, the bearer has added a variety of new mechanisms, including Editor Level for players to make the stages.

As of February 2021, developers revealed that Beat Saber has sold more than four million copies worldwide.

The game also sold more than 40 million songs through paid DLC. Even though Meta currently has Beat Games, the developer remains independent.
