Alien Vocalist Ant Farm, Dryden Mitchell Was Charged For Pulling Fans' HANDs Into His Private Area
JAKARTA - Alien frontman Ant Farm, Dryden Mitchell was charged with unpleasant actions after pulling a male fan's hand into his private area at a concert.
As The Daily Mail reports, the incident occurred when the US rock band appeared at the Forward Center For The Performing Arts in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on October 29, 2022.
The moment was recorded in a fan shot video and then posted on YouTube.
In the tape, the audience in question is seen raising his hand at Mitchell who directed him to his private area. The fan quickly pulled his hand.
It was reported that an unknown fan, a man from Miami, submitted a report to the Fort Lauderdale Police Department two weeks later, claiming the vocalist had attacked him.
Last Friday, December 30, the Broward District Attorney's Office filed charges of first-degree offense against Mitchell, who could be sentenced to up to one year in prison if found guilty.
Polisi menulis:[Penggefan] mengatakan dia mengangkat tinjunya dan mencoba untuk foto dengan Mitchell.
[He] said Mitchell grabbed the fan's boxing while in the air and pulled the boxing into his private area (the genital area). [He] stated that he immediately pulled his hand at the time.
The man said he did not want to talk about the incident until later on the advice of his civil attorney.
I would be very happy to speak later. I want this story to be published because what happened was not right," he told the Daily Mail.
