Use The 'Report Pak Kapolres' Facility, TKW Karawang Who Is Sick In Saudi Arabia Finally Can Go Home

JAKARTA - The Karawang Police, West Java, sent home a female worker (TKW) who had difficulty returning to the country even though he was sick.

"Previously we received a report from Mrs. Lidyawati (34) who worked in Damam City, Saudi Arabia," said Karawang Police Chief AKBP Aldi Subartono during a friendly with the community at the Karawang Police Headquarters, Tuesday, January 3.

The report was submitted by Lidyawati through the WhatsApp number 'Lapor Pak Kapolres', a service launched by the Karawang Police.

The police chief said that after receiving the report, his party then coordinated with the agent or distributor of Indonesian workers who dispatched Lidyawati.

"We are coordinating with the Indonesian Embassy, Alhamdulillah, Mrs. Lidya is receiving treatment while waiting for the repatriation process. On December 15, 2022, she can finally go home," he said as quoted by Antara.

He conveyed that at that time he coordinated with the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police and the Police Attach in Saudi Arabia to process Lidyawati's return.

Meanwhile, Lidyawati, who is a resident of Sukamakmur Village, Telukjambe Timur District, Karawang Regency, left for Saudi Arabia to work as a household assistant in August 2022.

However, Lidya, who had just given birth before leaving for Saudi Arabia, was sick at a former fault operation while working in Saudi Arabia.

"I left on August 20, 2022, for 4 months there I complained of illness because of a former fault operation," he said, adding that he was not allowed to go home because he had not even worked for six months.

After enduring the pain, Lidyawati finally ventured to express her suffering via chat to the WhatsApp number 'Report Mr. Kapolres', at 082211272003.

"I complained to the Karawang Police because my condition was sick, not strong enough to work there. Thank God on December 15, 2022, I was able to return to Indonesia safely. Thank you, Mr. Karawang Police Chief," he said.
