Unintroduced Al Nassr Officially, Cristiano Ronaldo Has BEEN Reported Will Return To The English Premier League

JAKARTA - The soccer star from Portugal, Cristiano Ronaldo, has officially become part of Saudi Arabia's club, Al Nassr. He is contracted at a fantastic price.

In an agreement with Ronaldo, Al Nassr is willing to pay 200 million euros or IDR 3.3 trillion to the star. Ronaldo then got a contract period until 2025.

However, in that contract, there are several interesting clauses. One of them is a special clause that the star can return to appear in the English Premier League, as quoted by The Sun, Tuesday, January 3.

The Sun source said Cristiano Ronaldo would be allowed to join Newcastle United on loan. But on condition that The Magpies can finish in the top four of the season and qualify for the 2023/2024 Champions League.

The clause is believed to be inseparable from the takeover of Newcastle by the Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund or Public Investment Fund (PIF) which was carried out in October 2021. Moreover, over the past 15 months, the Saudi Arabian consortium has invested heavily in players and changed the fate of the club.

No wonder in the end there is an opportunity given by Al Nassr for Ronaldo to appear again in Europe. However, there are big conditions that must first be proven by Newcastle.

Newcastle's current position is not too bad, they are in third place in the Premier League standings with a collection of 34 points from 17 matches. Newcastle are behind defending champions Manchester City and Arsenal who flew high in pole position.

Meanwhile, Ronaldo will be officially introduced by Al Nassr as a new player on Tuesday, January 3 evening local time. A festive event will be held at Marscool Park to welcome the star.

Although it is not certain when it will be played, the rumors are that Ronaldo is expected to make his debut for Al-Nassr against Al Ta'ee on Thursday, January 5, 2023.
