Qodir Record Of Mbah Surip Bangun Tidup Live, Dul Djaelani: The Energy Is Different

JAKARTA - Rock band Qodir performed a song by Mbah Surip, Bangun Tidur, and released it in a live music video format.

The frontman of this band, Dul Djaelani, tells the story of the sensation and challenges of recording songs live on his personal Instagram account.

"It turns out that the energy is very different. Looking at the struggle of ancient musicians who may have been much more difficult in recording. Maybe it takes 100 times for one take. Qodir hooked up Sisitip's vocalist Fauzan Lubis to fill the vocal line in the song. The music video can be watched on the Official Qodir YouTube channel.

In an upload on Instagram social media, Qodir announced the presence of the live video on Monday.
