In Order To Deal With Disasters, The Banten Police Check The Evacuation Line
SERANG - Banten Police Chief Inspector General Rudy Heriyanto checked evacuation routes and Disaster Response posts in two villages, namely Chicken Mining Village, Anyar District and Cinangka Village, Cinangka District, Serang Regency, Wednesday, December 28.
The check of the evacuation route was also accompanied by the Head of the National Search and Rescue Agency (SAR) (BASARNAS) for the Banten area, Adil Triyanto.
Rudy said that the evacuation route inspection was carried out in order to check readiness to deal with disasters.
"Together with BPBD and Basarnas as well as the local government, we have checked the readiness of routes and evacuation sites to several locations, namely in Mining Chicken Village and Cinangka Village," Rudy said in a written statement, Wednesday, December 28.
Rudy also explained that his party had prepared a number of disaster response posts.
"Banten Police together with BPBD and related agencies have prepared 16 disaster response posts spread across the Cinangka and Anyar sub-districts," said Rudy.
"We have also coordinated with the Indonesian Hotel and Restaurant Association (PHRI) and the manager of tourist attractions." he continued
"Especially for visitors to tourist attractions and hotel tourists who are staying overnight, evacuation routes have also been prepared and a mechanism system for acting to deal with contingency," said Rudy.
In addition to checking evacuation routes and Rudy's Disaster Response Post also checking beach conditions.
"The Kapolda greeted and asked beach visitors and gave an appeal not to swim because of the very strong current," said Rudy.
At the end, Rudy said to replace the Contingency. "Banten Police BPBD and Basarnas and the government are ready to face all the possibilities that occur," concluded Rudy.
On the same occasion, the Head of BPBD for Serang Regency, Nana Sukmana Kusuma, added that an early warning system had been prepared along the Anyer Beach route.
"Three early warning systems have been prepared. Of the three, three will emit sounds when an incident occurs," said Nana.
Nana also said that Anyer Tourism Area can still be visited, even so, you must remain vigilant. "Today's weather conditions in the Anyer Tourism Area are relatively normal and can be visited, just stay alert," Nana concluded.
