CLEO Boss Of The Conglomerate Hermanto Tanoko Adds Ownership At The Ceramic Company
JAKARTA - The Tancorp Group company owned by one of the richest people in Indonesia, the owner of the CLEO drinking water company, Hermanto Tanoko, has officially increased its share ownership in the ceramic issuer PT Cahayaputra Asa Keramik Tbk (CAKK).
In an information disclosure on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), which was quoted on Tuesday, December 27, PT Tancorp Bangun Indonesia (TBI) has purchased CAKK shares on December 23, 2022. However, it is not detailed that the party sold their shares to TBI.
The total shares purchased reached 90.63 million (90,636,700) shares. With this transaction, the percentage of Tancorp's ownership in CAKK increased from the original 662 million shares, equivalent to 55.02 percent to 752.63 million shares or 62.55 percent of the company's issued and paid-up capital.
Management did not specify the purchase price of this stock. However, before the transaction, Tancorp Bangun Indonesia took over the majority of CAKK's shares from PT Marissi Idola Sumber Sejahtera, Johan Silitonga, and Luciana Sutanto on October 19, 2022. The total shares purchased at that time were 662 million shares, equivalent to 55 percent of the company's issued and paid-up capital.
The shares were purchased at a price of IDR 229 per share, bringing the total acquisition transactions to IDR 151.59 billion.
Prior to the takeover, Tancorp Bangun Indonesia did not have a share ownership in CAKK. The two also have no affiliation as stated in Article 7 paragraph (2) POJK No. 9/2018.
