JAKARTA Since Tuesday morning, December 27, Mampang Prapatan, South Jakarta is still drizzling in rain. Residents affected by the fire are still trying to find valuable objects buried in debris, collapsed buildings due to fires that crushed hundreds of houses, on Monday 26 December.
According to VOI monitoring at the fire site, Tuesday, December 27 at 09.43 WIB, a number of residents were seen visiting their respective homes. They are still looking for items that can be saved.
One by one they moved objects that could still be used. A number of residents were seen sitting there looking at their houses leveled to the ground.
Not a few residents did not expect what happened to him. They couldn't believe they saw their house charred, into wooden sticks.
Ranti (48), one of the residents who became victims of the fire, admitted that her house was destroyed. None of the items can be saved.
What I hope now is that the government will make it easier to manage important (document) documents. I feel sorry for my son, the laptop caught fire. The house letter caught fire," Ranti told VOI at the scene.
Meanwhile, South Jakarta Fire and Rescue (Gulkarmat) picket officer, Moch Arief, said there were 200 family cards (KK) that were victims of the fire. The total loss is estimated to reach Rp20 billion.
"Losses are estimated at Rp20 billion," he concluded.
