At Night, Ganjar Pranowo Checks Traffic On The Semarang-Solo Toll Road: Tomorrow It Can Be More Stringent
Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo directly checked the conditions of traffic flow on the Semarang-Solo Toll Road ahead of the Christmas and New Year holidays to ensure the readiness of all parties to serve the community.
Ganjar was seen monitoring activities at the KM 429 Rest Area and Christmas and New Year service posts as well as health service posts, Semarang Regency, Friday, December 23 night.
According to Ganjar, the increase in toll road users was recorded at around 10 percent since Monday, December 19. This condition is expected to continue to increase for the next two days.
"It's been a week since the report was full because yesterday the school children had started going on vacation," he said as quoted by Antara.
The number one person in the Central Java Provincial Government said it was necessary to conduct a direct check to take anticipatory action.
"It feels like today until tomorrow it will feel even more crowded, so earlier we checked starting outside the Semarang toll gate, which is heading here, it is also getting very crowded," he said.
He requested that health services provide a COVID-19 vaccine that can be accessed free of charge by the public.
"And we offer if you want a vaccine, you can use the mask, the booster is important. And it's free, so later if someone passes, they want the vaccine here," he said.
According to Ganjar, last year's Eid homecoming success could be an example for handling traffic flow at Christmas and this new year.
"If yesterday's briefing on the preparation for the Christmas New Year holiday was an example of yesterday's homecoming because yesterday's homecoming was relatively successful and extraordinary, then it's just an example," he said.
