The KPK Asks For Parties In The Corruption Case Of LNG Procurement Of Pertamina Kooperative
The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has asked parties related to allegations of corruption in the procurement of liquefied natural gas (LNG) at PT Pertamina in 2011-2021 to cooperate. This case will be thoroughly investigated so that the perpetrators are accountable for their actions."KPK reminds related parties to be cooperative in following the process of investigating this case," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri to reporters, Thursday, December 22."We are fully committed to completing the investigation of this case until the trial process," he continued.Furthermore, Ali said that the KPK had extended prevention abroad against the four people suspected of being involved in this case. This prevention is carried out until June 2023.In addition, investigators are still working on investigating the case. "The process of collecting and completing evidence is still being carried out," said Ali.As previously reported, the KPK has named a suspect in connection with allegations of corruption in the procurement of liquid natural (LNG) at PT Pertamina in 2011-2021. However, the name and construction of the case have not yet been submitted to the public.In addition, the anti-corruption commission has asked the Directorate General of Immigration of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights to prevent four people from leaving the country in this case. Based on the information gathered, the parties prevented were former President Director of PT Pertamina (Persero) Karen Agustiawan, Haru Karyulanto, Yenni Andyani, and Dimas Mohamad Aulia.In addition, a number of witnesses suspected of knowing the actions of the suspects have been summoned by KPK investigators. One of them, former President Director of PT Pertamina Dwi Soejipto who was asked to explain the sale and purchase of LNG procurement at Pertamina in 2011-2021.
