GARUT - Garut Resort Police destroyed hundreds of motorcycle noisy exhausts resulting from raids on the streets. So far, many residents have protested with exhaust sound."A noisy exhaust of 846 units was destroyed which was the result of our operation and forkopimda," said Garut Police Chief AKBP Wirdhanto Hadicaksono during the destruction of noisy exhausts and liquor bottles at the Garut Police Headquarters, Antara, Friday, December 16.The police chief hopes that the destruction can be a warning not to use noisy exhausts anymore because it disturbs the comfort of the community."Noise exhausts are part of people's diseases," he said.He added that the destruction was also carried out in liquor, which recorded more than five thousand bottles of various types and brands of joint operations in the Garut region.The bottles of alcoholic beverages were destroyed by being destroyed using a heavy vehicle type stum witnessed by Garut Police officials and local governments.The police chief conveyed that the extermination activity was in the context of pre-conditions facing the security of Christmas and New Year's 2023."This activity is in order to create conducive conditions ahead of the 2023 Christmas and New Year celebrations in the jurisdiction of the Garut Police," he said.
