Puan Maharani Closed The Session Period, Pamer Successfully Ketok Palu 6 Bills Become Law

JAKARTA - The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Puan Maharani, officially closed the trial period II for the 2022-2023 session in today's plenary session, Thursday, December 15. "On behalf of the leadership of the DPR RI, I appreciate the hard work of all members of the DPR RI who continue to work to realize the expectations of the people. Currently we are entering a recess to greet, listen to the aspirations of the people who have implemented the DPR RI, and unite the people in the spirit of gotong royong to build Indonesia," said Puan Maharani in her speech, Thursday, December 15. Thus, the DPR officially entered the recess period from December 16, 2022 to January 9, 2023. "On this occasion, I announce the name of the DPR RI from December 16, 2022 to January 9, 2023, the DPR enters the recess period of trial III of 2022-2023. Happy entering the recess and greet the people with joy," said the chairman of the DPP PDIP. Before closing the session, the Chairperson of the DPR had exhibited the achievements of the DPR RI which succeeded in passing the bill into law. One of them, the RKUHP. "DPR and the government have successfully completed 6 bills into Laws, and 13 bills that are currently under discussion level I," said Puan. "The DPR has also established a national legislation program for the fourth amendment of 2020-2024 as many as 259 bills, and 39 Prolegnas 2023," he added. In the 13th plenary meeting today, the DPR approved the Bill on the Development and Strengthening of the Financial Sector (PPSK) as Law.

The DPR also approved the Bill on Ratification of Agreements between the Government of the Republic of Indonesia and the Government of the Republic of Singapore on the Extradition of Fugitives.

In addition, the DPR also agreed on the stipulation of the Prolegnas for the Amendment to the Priority Bill for 2022, the Prolegnas for the Priority Bill for 2023, and the Prolegnas for the Fourth Amendment to the 2020-2024 Bill.
