Ronaldo Advises Neymar To Seek Psychological Support After Brazil Dispelled In The 2022 World Cup
JAKARTA - Brazilian legend Ronaldo Luis Nazario de Lima urged Neymar to seek psychological help following Brazil's elimination from the 2022 Qatar World Cup.
The Paris Saint-Germain star was seen very shaken by the penalty shootout defeat against Croatia in the quarter-finals which means there is no exciting semifinal against Argentina.
After suffering a 1-7 defeat against Germany in 2014 and then a defeat in the 2018 quarter-final against Belgium, there is a feeling that Brazil has the best chance of winning the World Cup in Qatar.
One of Brazil's great legends, Ronaldo, gave PSG players advice to help him recover mentally from this difficult time.
"I would advise him to gain psychological support to withstand this pressure, which is very disproportionate for a human being," he said on Brazilian television.
In addition, Ronaldo believes that the best version of Neymar will return.
"Neymar will return with the same spirit, with the same desire. But I want to strengthen this need to continue to pay attention to the mental health of our players.
"It is very important for us to address this issue, especially when it comes to the World Cup, where the whole world is watching the national team. The world is watching Neymar".
