Members of the Jatilawang Sector Police (Polsek) have arrested dozens of junior high and high school / vocational high school students who are known to be having a Ciu type alcoholic drink party at Diponegoro Field, Tunjung Village, Banyumas Regency, Central Java."While carrying out routine patrols, members of the Jatilawang Police received information from the public if a group of students were drinking alcoholic beverages in the Diponegoro Field area," said Banyumas Police Chief Kombes Edy Suranta Sitepu, Antara, Tuesday, December 13.Based on this information, he said, members of the Jatilawang Police immediately went to Diponegoro Field and found dozens of students who did not take lessons at school sitting in that place.After checking, he continued, officers found ciu-type alcoholic beverages brought by students."Therefore, the children were then asked to line up to the Jatilawang Police Headquarters to undergo coaching," he said.Jatilawang Police Chief AKP Wawan Dwi Leksono added, based on the results of data collection, there were 26 students who were caught on patrol, six of whom were high school/vocational students and 20 other junior high school students.After collecting data, he said, his party called the teacher and parents of the student concerned in the context of coaching so as not to repeat their actions because what they did was not good.In addition, he continued, his party asked students who use noisy exhausts (brongs) on their motorbikes to remove and replace them with standard exhausts so as not to cause noise in the environment."For ciu sellers, we take action and coaching so that they no longer sell alcoholic beverages, let alone sell them to school students," he said.AKP Wawan said his party would continue to carry out routine patrol activities to maintain the conduciveness of the Banyumas Regency area, especially Jatilawang District.He appealed to the public not to hesitate to report any incidents that could disrupt public security and order (kamtibmas).
