JAKARTA - Admiral Yudo Margono will immediately step on the gas after being inaugurated by President Joko Widodo as TNI Commander replacing General Andika Perkasa. The first step is to coordinate with all chiefs of staff both in the army, sea and air to carry out priority programs. Mainly, related to security in conflict areas such as Papua, Natuna, South China Sea, and Aceh. "I will first meet with the chiefs of staff, we will follow up on what is the priority. Regarding Papua, the South China Sea, Aceh. And personnel coaching, of course, the TNI Commander is also authorized to direct to be solid and synergistic with the National Police and society," said Yudo Margono at a press conference at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Tuesday, December 13. Yudo said he had four priority programs. The first is related to the quality human resources (HR) to improve the TNI and continue the previous TNI Commander's program. "It's the main thing in improving the TNI, starting from a professional HR without that it's all difficult for us to realize. So with professional human resources we will continue the duties of the TNI commander," said Yudo.

Furthermore, priority in high conflict areas, especially at land and sea borders. "The region is currently a strategic vulnerability starting from Natuna, Papua, Aceh and so on," he said.
