The Bima Police have transferred the suspect and evidence of the alleged corruption case of production facilities (saprodies) printing new rice fields in 2016 to the Public Prosecutor to the Bima District Attorney (Kejari), Monday 12 December afternoon.
"By carrying out the second phase of the day, our handling has been completed," said Head of the Bima Police Criminal Investigation Unit, Adjunct Commissioner Masdin when contacted in Mataram, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), Monday 12 December.
The three suspects were transferred to the public prosecutor. They are the former Head of the Bima Regency Agriculture and Horticulture (DPH) Service with the initials MT, the former Head of the Division with the initials MU, and the former Head of Section with the initials NMS.
Regarding this, the Head of the Intelligence Section of the Bima Kejari, Andi Sudirman, confirmed the transfer of the suspect and evidence in the new rice field printing saprody case from police investigators.
"Yes, this is still ongoing (inspection)," Andi said by telephone.
With the investigation process still ongoing, Andi has not been able to confirm the detention of the three suspects.
"Wait for the public prosecutor's decision," he said.
When this case was being investigated by the police, investigators did not detain the three suspects. Investigators consider their cooperative attitude during the legal process.
In 2016, the Bima Regency Government received a new rice field printing program for the 2015-2016 period and Saprodi assistance sourced from the state budget.
At that time, Bima Regency received a disbursement of IDR 14.47 billion for 241 farmer groups. The distribution went directly to the banking account book belonging to the farmer group.
The funds are distributed in two stages. The first stage is 70 percent or comparable to Rp. 10.13 billion and the second stage is Rp. 4.11 billion.
However, from the results of the investigation, it was found that indications that the budget was not distributed to all farmer groups.
This was also confirmed by the results of the calculation of state losses from the NTB Representative Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP) with a value of at least Rp5.11 billion.
