Without Remainder, Yurita Puji Puji Setia Zero Waste Weaving At Fashion Tendanace 2023
BANDUNG - Yurita Puji presented a new work by issuing a simple and elegant ready to wear product using an application from Lombok weaving whose motive is in the Affirmation-themed Fashion Tendance 2023 which was initiated by the Association of Indonesian Fashion Designers and Entrepreneurs (APPMI) West Java.
The event, which was held at InterContinental Bandung Dago Pakar, The Diamond, West Java, Thursday, December 8, provides references to the trend of fashion in the coming year to fashion lovers in the country.
In accordance with the theme of affirmation which means that the statement confirms something of the truth, Yurita does not want to show the length of the process of producing weaving. "That's why I regret it if there is something left unused. The process of making it take a long time," he said.
Trend, which will be held, is certainly the certainty of a statement from the designers for the next year, both in terms of color, silhouette, style and material.
The designer who cares about weaving craftsmen is consistent in making works with Indonesian original fabrics. "I travel around Indonesia to meet craftsmen who are ready to be collaborated. This is a long journey of almost three years. Combining traditional cloth with the concept of zero waste, we make the model adapted to the cloth motif," he explained.
Besides being elegant, the dress they exhibit is easy to clean so that it is practict. "With the estimated cost of product production, the ease of low cost maintenance, and easy design is very important, I hope to lift the degree of nusantara cloth. We must be proud of cultural wealth," he said.
