JAKARTA - Jember, East Java was rocked by an earthquake measuring magnitude M 6.2.

Reporting from BMKG, Tuesday, December 6, the earthquake occurred at 13.07 WIB.

The epicenter was in the sea. The exact location is 284 km southwest of Jember. The epicenter of the earthquake depth was reported at 10 km.

There have been no reports of damage.
