Convention Obstruction Of Justice Arif Rachman Arifin Today, Members Of Timsus And Propam Will Be Witnesses

JAKARTA - The South Jakarta District Court will continue the trial of the alleged obstruction of justice with the defendant Arif Rachman Arifin today. The plan is that the public prosecutor (JPU) will present two witnesses, namely, members of the special team (timsus) and Propam Polri.

"Yes, today is the trial of the obstruction of justice case for the defendant ARA," said Public Relations of the South Jakarta District Court, Djuyamto when confirmed, Friday, December 2.

The plan is that the trial of the obstruction case to investigate the case of the death of Nopriansyah Yosua Hutabarat alias Brigadier J iti will begin at around 13.30 WIB.

In addition, Arif Rachman Arifin's legal adviser, Junaedi Saabih, said that the prosecutor plans to present two witnesses. They are Deputy Head of Detachment C of the Paminal Bureau of the National Police's Propam Division, AKBP Radite Hernawa and a member of the Agus Saripul Hidayat team.

"The plan is for Radite and Agus from Irwasum," said Junaedi.

Arif Rachman Arifin is a defendant in the obstruction of juctice case of Brigadier J's death. He was jointly charged with securing evidence in the form of CCTV from the security post of the Police Complex, Duren Tiga, South Jakarta.

Thus, Arif Rachman Arifin is strongly suspected of violating Article 49 in conjunction with Article 33 subsidiary Article 48 paragraph (1) in conjunction with Article 32 paragraph (1) of the ITE Law Number 19 of 2016 and/or the second indictment of Article 233 of the Criminal Code subsidiary Article 221 paragraph (1) to 2 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph 1 to (1) of the Criminal Code.
