KPK: Gara-gara Korupsi, Layanan Kesehatan Dan Infrastruktur Dibangun Dengan Kualitas Badan
The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) invites all parties to prevent corruption. Rasuah practices are accused of being the cause of poor public services, disruption of infrastructure development, and poverty.
"Our daily reality that is easy to find and feel in our society is poverty," Alexander said as quoted from his written statement, Wednesday, November 30.
"We still see that our health services are not very good, seeing that the number of education is still low, many school facilities are damaged, infrastructure is also built with poor quality. One of the causes of this problem is corruption," he continued.
Alexander said all parties must work together to eradicate corruption. Moreover, the latest Corruption Perception Index (GPA) only scored 38.
This figure puts Indonesia at number 96 out of 180 countries. "For that, I invite the involvement of all parties, including the Regional Government, Law Enforcement Officials, BUMN, BUMD, Business Actors, and all levels of society, it is very important to be involved in eradicating corruption," he said.
Not only that, but the commitment to prevent corruption must also be shown by regional heads. They must desperately close the gap for corruption.
"The most important thing for us is the commitment of regional heads not to commit corruption, this is what we must always remind us, we are building," he concluded.
