Women Burn Themselves In The House: Residents See Black Smoke, After BREAKing The Victims Sit In The Stairs

TANGERANG - Tangerang Metro Police Chief, Kombes Zain Dwi Nugoroho gave a response regarding the incident of a woman named Dewi (42) who was desperate to burn herself in her house in Perum Pondok Makmur, Gebang Raya, Periuk, Tangerang City.

Zain said, at the time of the incident, residents saw black smoke in the victim's house. Because of panic, residents broke down Dewi's door, and residents were surprised in their house to see Dewi in a pathetic lifeless condition. His body was crushed.

"So there was black smoke, then residents reported to RT's house. Of course, after that, accompanied by the head of the RT, the door was broken down," Zain told reporters at the scene, Monday, November 28.

Zain admitted that he could not conclude the cause of death of the victim. Now Dewi's body has been taken to the Tangerang Regency Hospital.

Furthermore, police officers have not been able to reveal the evidence obtained from Dewi's house.

"We are still investigating, we are investigating the causes and motives, we are examining the witnesses and the results of the post-mortem. (Evidence) is still being selected," he concluded.
