Central Lombok Regency Government NTB Allocates IDR 2.5 Billion For BLT Fishermen, Everyone Receives IDR 300 Thousand

CENTRAL LOMBOK - The Central Lombok Regency Government, West Nusa Tenggara has allocated IDR 2.5 billion for the direct cash assistance (BLT) program for fishermen affected by the increase in fuel oil prices (BBM)."The funds are prepared through the DAU in the 2022 APBD," said Head of the Central Lombok Regency Fisheries and Marine Service, M Kamrin in Praya, quoted from Antara, Friday, November 25.From the results of the verification carried out as many as 4880 fishermen spread across 12 coastal villages in East Praya District, Pujut, West Praya, Southwest Praya and fishermen in Batujai Dam and Pengge. "This assistance is spread across four sub-districts," he said.He said the data on the recipients of the assistance had been completed and the assistance was distributed by the social service through Bank NTB. This was done to anticipate turmoil in the community and so that the program was right on target."The value of the assistance provided is Rp. 300 thousand per person for three months," he said.Not all of the Rp2.5 billion funds that have been prepared can be absorbed, because from the verification results, several fishermen were found to have died, moved and worked abroad."The total number of fishermen in Central Lombok is around 6,000 people. However, 4880 people were included in the data," he said.Data on recipients of the assistance program for the impact of fuel increases is in accordance with the Marine and Fisheries Business Actors Card (Kusuka) program which is being intensified by the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries (KKP)."All the programs implemented are expected to use one data, namely Kusuka data," said M Kamrin.
