Jusuf Kalla Explains That KAHMI Presidium Must Be Bagged 3 Criteria
PALU - Chairman of the Ethics Council of the HMI Alumni Corps (KAHMI) Jusuf Kalla or JK revealed that the Presidium of KAHMI for the 2022-2027 period must have three criteria.
"Selecting the presidium is only three conditions, the diversity, innovation, and service. That's all when asked what the conditions are," said JK when giving a speech at the Galanner KAHMI event in Palu, Central Sulawesi (Sulteng), Thursday, November 24 night.
The 10th and 12th vice presidents emphasized the alumnus of HMI to re-evaluate related to the goal of HMI, namely the development of academic people, creators, obligors who breathe Islam, and are responsible for the realization of a just prosperous society that is in accordance with Allah SWT.
JK emphasized that HMI alumni should have been able to answer questions within themselves whether they were intellectuals, scholars, and thought science in accordance with academic personnel. In addition, whether they have become creators and innovators according to their respective fields.
"Munas not only discussed and decided who the new leadership was, but also evaluated where to implement HMI's goals," he explained.
Meanwhile, the Presidium Coordinator of the HMI Alumni Corps (KAHMI) Ahmad Doli Kurnia hopes that the 11th KAHMI National Conference (Munas) in Palu will produce new ideas and thoughts for the organization.
"Let's be filled with smart thoughts, new visions, new ideas, new ideas, about the KAHMI movement for the next 5 years, for a better Indonesia, more advanced, prosperous, and for the benefit of Muslims, as well as the glory of all of us," he said.
The 11th National Conference of KAHMI took place in Palu, 24-27 November 2022. The 5-year agenda will also select nine new presidiums out of 40 names who qualify as candidates.
The candidates represent three categories: first, politicians; second, academics and bureaucracy; third, entrepreneurs, professionals, and NGOs.
