Acting Chairperson Of PPP: Management In 14 Regions Proposes Ganjar Pranowo To Be A Presidential Candidate In 2024

JAKARTA - Acting (Plt) General Chairperson of PPP Muhamad Mardiono said there were 14 PPP regional administrators who proposed Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo as a presidential candidate in 2024.

"So there are several areas, if I'm not mistaken there are 14 regions that have voiced to propose to the Central Executive Board (DPP) PPP that in order to nominate Pak Ganjar, that is a regional request," said Mardiono in the Presidential Palace area, Jakarta, Wednesday, November 23, confiscated from Antara.

Mardiono said the names of the presidential candidates proposed by the cadres were still in process. If the DPP agrees, it will be brought to be discussed with political parties that are members of the United Indonesia Coalition (KIB).

However, he could not confirm how long the process of discussing the presidential candidate will be carried out. Mardiono said PPP was careful in choosing the presidential candidate to be carried out.

"I can't confirm yet, in the process in political parties (political parties), and we have to be careful, and we have to pay close attention to the dynamics that are developing in our society because once again this is to build the nation and state," he said.

According to Mardiono, political parties are responsible for producing qualified national leaders. He said a number of qualified leaders would later be offered KIB to the public to be elected in the 2024 election.

"This is not easy because we are choosing national figures to continue the continuity of our national development to continue the leadership relay to build this nation. Of course political parties are obliged to be careful and careful," he said.

Mardiono said there was a possibility that several other parties would join KIB. However, he is currently still reluctant to reveal the names of these parties.
