Bareskrim Bantul Check Kepala BPOM Soal Kasus Gagal Sistem Akut
The Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police has denied any plans to examine the Head of the Food and Drug Supervisory Agency (BPOM) Penny Lukito in resolving cases of acute kidney failure. However, only officials in the field or division of supervision will be questioned.
Meanwhile, the plan to investigate Penny Lukito was conveyed by the Head of Public Information Bureau of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan some time ago.
"Nothing, there is no summons from the Head of BPOM," said Director of Certain Crimes at the National Police Criminal Investigation Agency Brigadier General Pipit Rismanto when confirmed, Wednesday, November 23.

In the case of acute kidney failure in children, Bareskrim Polri named three suspects. Two of them are corporations and the rest are individuals.
For corporate suspects, namely, CV Samudera Chemical and PT Afi Farma. The two pharmaceutical companies are considered to have committed criminal acts of producing drugs or distributing pharmaceutical preparations that do not meet standards, both in terms of security and benefit.
Meanwhile, the individual suspect is the owner of the CV Samudera Chemical with the initials E. Currently, his whereabouts are being hunted.
