Sutradara Katak Hal Baru Dalam Film Glass Onion

JAKARTA - Rian Johnson revealed that there are many new things in the film Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery which is the continuation of the Knives Out franchise. In addition to the die, this film explores relationships between characters that are considered to have not occurred in the first part.

"We went through a lot of fun in producing this sequel. But making a sequel doesn't mean continuing the first story but how we made a new story like Agatha Christie create a mystery story in another book," Rian Johnson said at a Glass Onion press conference some time ago.

Johnson said with a different background, the atmosphere presented becomes more colorful.

The humory side will be many and wider. It makes sense to see what is involved with the characters," he continued.

"Agatha Christie is not only talking about murder, but also combining genres and making fresh approaches so as to create new stories," Johnson explained.

Rian Johnson also explained that Glass Onion is very relevant to social issues around the community. Although the story is certainly something that is rarely heard, the culture is in the film.

"Films (Knives Out) always have a background now so there is a cultural element. What people think is also what I think will appear in this film," he said again.

Glass Onion tells of the murder at a luxury yacht in Greece. Blanc is tasked with solving the mystery case and looking for the mastermind behind it all. This film is a sequel to Knives Out (2019) starring Daniel Craig and Chris Evans and Ana de Armas.

Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery presents Daniel Craig back as Benoit Blanc with a number of actors namely Kate Hudson, Edward Norton, Janelle Monowee, Dave Bautista, Kathryn Hahn, Leslie Odom Jr., Jessica Henwick and Madelyn Cline.

Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery will premiere on Netflix on December 23.
