Zulkifli's Hope For The Elected Chairman Of Muhammadiyah Later

JAKARTA - Trade Minister Zulkifli Hasan (Zulhas) hopes that the elected chairman of the Muhammadiyah Central Management (PP) for the 2022-2027 period will be able to bring goodness to the nation and state.

"Through this Muhammadiyah Congress, it is hoped that the leaders of the Muhammadiyah organization will be elected who can bring goodness to the nation and state," said Zulkifli Hasan in his statement in Jakarta, Saturday, November 19.

Zulhas said this while attending the 48th Muhammadiyah Congress at Manahan Stadium, Surakarta, Central Java, quoted by Antara.

He also hopes that the momentum of the 48th Muhammadiyah Congress can formulate public programs in various dimensions of life according to the times. According to him, Muhammadiyah has proven to be able to adapt and never tire of serving the Indonesian nation.

"I hope Muhammadiyah can continue to exist on the global stage. This can be realized through the leadership of the Muhammadiyah special branch (PCIM) in many countries," he added.

The former chairman of the MPR believes Muhammadiyah's presence will be felt more, especially since the religious community organization (ormas) has many business charities abroad, including in Australia and several other countries.

Zulhas said he was optimistic that Muhammadiyah could overcome various challenges in the future because the organization's management always worked with enthusiasm, sincerity, and sincerity.

"This method is the basis for Muhammadiyah's 'living'," said Zulhas.

In addition, he also appreciated Muhammadiyah's move to buy da'wah centers in Madrid, Spain, because the area had been the center of Muslim civilization. Zulhas admitted that he had asked the Indonesian Ambassador to Spain Muhammad Najib to help so that these efforts could be realized immediately.
