Lombok Hajj Dormitory Project Managing Director Sued 7.5 Years in Prison
MATARAM - Director of the Company Implementing the Rehabilitation and Maintenance Project of the Lombok Hajj Embarkation Dormitory Building, Dyah Estu Kurniawati, was sentenced to 7.5 years in prison.
The public prosecutor, Ema Muliawati, stated that the defendant is believed to have been proven guilty according to the primary indictment.
The prosecutor requested that the panel of judges chaired by Mukhlassuddin also impose a fine of IDR 300 million, subsidiary to 4 months in prison.
To the defendant, the public prosecutor also charged compensation for state losses with a value of IDR 1.32 billion, a subsidiary of 3 years and 9 months in prison.
"Declaring that the defendant is still being held at the Mataram Class III Women's Prison and stipulates that the evidence for recovering losses worth IDR 27 million has been confiscated for the state", said prosecutor Ema during a trial at the Mataram Corruption Court, as reported by ANTARA, Friday, November 18.
The nominal state financial loss, in this case, is to the results of the BPKP audit, which is IDR 2.65 billion. The figure arises from overpayment for underpayment of the volume of work.
The losses consisted of building rehabilitation costs at UPT Hajj hostel of IDR 1.17 billion, rehabilitation of hotel buildings of IDR 373.11 million, rehabilitation of the Mina building of IDR 235.95 million, rehabilitation of the Safwa building of IDR 242.92 million, rehabilitation of the Arofah building IDR 290.6 million, and rehabilitation of the PIH building IDR 28.6 million.
The defendant Dyah as the director of the project implementing company from CV Kerta Agung was declared together with Wishnu Selamat Basuki and Abdurrazak Al Fakhir as the parties responsible for the emergence of the state loss.
In this case, Wishnu acted as the party implementing the project from the direct appointment of the Director of CV Kerta Agung. Although already a suspect, Wishnu is now on the prosecutor's wanted list (DPO).
The judge at the verdict hearing which was held separately with Dyah, Friday, November 18, sentenced Abdurrazak Al Fakhir to 8 years in prison and a fine of IDR 400 million subsidiaries to 6 months in prison. Abdurrazak is the Head of the Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) of the Lombok Hajj Embarkation Dormitory.
In addition to the crime, the judge also charged the defendant with paying a replacement fee of IDR 791 million, subsidiary to 5 years in prison, by also stating that IDR 150 million was deposited from Abdurrazak as part of the payment of the replacement money.
