G20 Delegation Returns from Bali, Police Close I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport Access Road This Afternoon
JAKARTA - The National Police will again implement a traffic closure and diversion scheme on several roads leading to I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport. The heads of state and state delegates will return to their respective countries.
"Guarding and securing the return of the head of state and delegation will have an impact on closing and diverting traffic flow", said Head of the Traffic Corps of the Police Inspector General Firman Shantyabudi in his statement, Wednesday, November 16.
The scheme for closing and diverting traffic flows is said to be starting from 17.00 WITA to 23.00 WITA.
However, it is not specified which roads will be closed and diverted. It can only be said that the scheme is implemented on the route from the accommodation of the heads of state and the overnight delegation to I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport.
"Some of the roads that will be closed are access to the airport. The closing time is quite long, so people are asked to find alternative roads or be patient if affected by the closure", said Firman.

In addition, Firman mentioned the plan, the group of heads of state and delegation will go to I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport via the toll road. However, if the wind is deemed strong or unsafe, it will be diverted through an alternative route or an artery.
"If the wind on the toll road crosses the safe limit, it will pass through an alternative route or artery. For this reason, the alternative route or artery will also be closed", said Firman.
