KPK Duga Ada Transaksi Valas Di Kasus Lukas Enembe
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) suspects that there was a foreign exchange transaction carried out by Papua Governor Lukas Enembe. This allegation was investigated by two witnesses who were questioned on Tuesday, November 15 yesterday at the KPK's Red and White Building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta.
Head of the News Section Ali Fikri said the two witnesses were representatives of PT Anugrah Valasindo, Kriswanto and representatives of PT Mulia Multi Remittance or Mulia Multi Valas, Roby.
"Both were present and confirmed regarding the witness' appointment regarding the alleged foreign exchange transaction in the case with the suspect LE et al," Ali told reporters in a written statement, Wednesday, November 16.
Ali did not specify the foreign exchange transaction. However, he confirmed that investigators would investigate further.
"We are still carrying out the investigation," he said.
As previously reported, Lukas Enembe has been named a suspect in alleged corruption by the KPK. He was then questioned by the KPK on Thursday, November 3 in Jayapura.
At that time, the KPK team consisting of independent doctors and investigators were present led by KPK Chairman Firli Bahuri. Arriving in Jayapura, Firli also had a chance to talk with Lukas.
During the conversation, Firli asked about Lukas' condition and spoke for about 15 minutes. Even so, Lukas' examination did not last long because he was sick.
