12 Members Of The TNI Police Use Renault Twezy Electric Car For Patrol In Nusa Dua Bali

BALI - Electric vehicles are used by heads of state and delegates who participate in holding the G20 Summit in Bali. In fact, the police officers who participated in securing the running of the G20 Summit were also prepared electric vehicles, both motorbikes and cars.

The electric vehicles used by the National Police are for escort to patrols. One of the electric vehicles used by the National Police is Renault Twizy. This vehicle is used for patrols to secure several areas that are venues and accommodation for delegates.

Tuesday night, November 15, as many as six Renault Twizy cars patrolled the ITDC area, Nusa Dua, Bali. The six cars were manned by 12 members of the National Police-TNI, all of whom were women.

The Women's Police (polwan) and the Women's Army Corps (Kowad) look good at driving vehicles with a capacity of two people.

They toured the Nusa Dua area to ensure the safety of delegates and heads of state. With the sirens, they toured and occasionally gave appeals through loudspeakers.

Head of the National Police's Public Relations Division, Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo, said that electric vehicle patrols were carried out to ensure the safety of the G20 Summit.

"This patrol is not only an electric vehicle but also ensures that security is also carried out to support environmentally friendly energy," said Dedi in a written statement, Tuesday, November 15.

Members of Polwan and Kowad who carry out patrols, said Dedi, as a form of the synergy between the TNI and Polri so that the G20 Summit can run successfully.

"This is also a form of the synergy between the TNI and Polri in securing the implementation of the G20 Summit," he said.

This joint patrol is carried out periodically until the head of state or delegation returns to his country. With good security, he said he would bring the name of Indonesia to be fragrant in the eyes of the world.

"We want the head of state or delegation to feel safe and comfortable because the TNI-Polri always have 24 hours to secure it. That way the world knows that Indonesia is able to hold international events in terms of security," he said.
