JAKARTA The four thugs who were often reported by passengers at the Kampung Rambutan Terminal were arrested by Ciracas Police. Ciracas Police Chief Kompol Jupriono in Jakarta, Tuesday, said the four thugs had the initials YK (32), AA (21), AS (23) and IR (28).
Jupriono said that the four perpetrators were arrested when officers carried out joint operations carried out by the Ciracas Police, East Jakarta Metro Police and terminal officers.
"We are still investigating, they have done bullying several times. Currently, we are securing it for further investigation," said Jupriono, Tuesday, November 15.
Jupriono added that from the results of the examination, the four perpetrators were suspected of often bullying passengers at the Kampung Rambutan Terminal.
The perpetrators often roam in the Kampung Rambutan Terminal area by targeting intercity interprovincial bus passengers (AKAP).
"The operation to create this condition is a routine activity that we carry out at the Kampung Rambutan Terminal with the Resort Police and the Transportation Agency to anticipate disturbances in order and security," said Jupriono.
Jupriono said that his party was also targeting the AKAP bus ticket broker at the Kampung Rambutan Terminal and at this activity his party did not find any brokers.
Furthermore, Jupriono appealed to passengers who found brokers or thugs in the Kampung Rambutan Terminal area to immediately report so that they could be followed up.
"In the terminal area, there are sub-sector police posts that are ready to serve residents. We also routinely conduct liquor raids (hard drinks) to prevent drivers from being influenced by alcohol," said Jupriono.
