PDIP Calls Anies Playing 'Trik Breaking Belah' If Offering Advanced Gibran The DKI Gubernatorial Election
JAKARTA - The chairman of the PDIP DPP Said Abdullah, said Anies Baswedan played a divisive trick if he tried to offer the Mayor of Solo, Gibran Rakabuming, to run in the 2024 DKI Pilkada. The reason is, Anies does not have a party. Meanwhile, Gibran is a PDIP cadre. Said said this in response to the meeting between Anies and Gibran today in Solo, Central Java. "If Anies advances Gibran, Anies doesn't have a party. That's Anies' political trick to divide PDIP. The Gibran cadres, suddenly he entered there?" Said told reporters, Tuesday, November 15.
So far, Said said, PDIP is still preparing who will be promoted as Cagub DKI in the 2024 Pilkada. He emphasized that there has been no decision regarding this matter.
"We are preparing, being finalized, prepared. The DPP meeting is done, we just need time until who is the most suitable candidate in DKI," Said Said said. Previously, Anies, who is also the presidential candidate from NasDem, denied discussing politics with Gibran. He considered that this is a relaxing moment of friendship.
"Oh no (there is political discussion). We chat here and there. Later it will be the matter of the presidential election. Now we are having a relaxed relationship," he said.
"Then now I want to go to the haul (Habib Ali bin Muhammad Al Habsyi) event. Hopefully the event will run smoothly, and I pray that Mas Gibran will always be healthy, facilitated in carrying out this mandate. We are very happy this morning to welcome him, have breakfast together and many things that we inform," Anies added.
Meanwhile, the Mayor of Solo, Gibran Rakabuming Raka, admitted that his meeting with Anies Baswedan discussed issues of public transportation and problems in the city.
"We talk a lot about public transportation and problems in the city. We don't talk about politics. We just chat lightly," said Gibran.
