Jokowi's Target Is Clear At The G20: It Must Be Successful, It Must Not Fail
BALI immediately issued a firm statement in his speech at the opening of the G20 Summit (KTT) today.
On this occasion, the Head of State stated that all countries and various international institutions must continue to strengthen collaboration in order to get out of the various challenges today.
"Today the eyes of the world are on our meeting. Will we score success? Or will it add another number of failures?," he said in Nusa Dua, Bali on Tuesday, November 15.
According to the President, Indonesia as the leader of the Group of 20 this year has a big responsibility to bring the organization to a comprehensive solution to a number of problems.
For this reason, he revealed that Indonesia would try its best to achieve the best results.
"For me, the G20 must be successful and must not fail," he stressed.
The President added that Indonesia actively builds communication with various parties in overcoming problems, both bilaterally and in the name of the G20.
"As the president of the G20, Indonesia has made every effort to bridge the very deep, very wide differences," he said.
Therefore, to increase the potential for agenda success, he asked all parties involved to continue to support productive steps in achieving solutions.
"Success will only be achieved if we all, without exception, commit, work hard, set aside differences to produce something concrete, something useful to the world," he explained.
For information, the 2022 G20 Indonesia Presidency carries three big agendas, namely strengthening the global health architecture, digital transformation, and energy transition.
Meanwhile, one of the important achievements that has been achieved in the leadership of the Republic of Indonesia in the Group of 20 this year is the establishment of the Financial Intermediary Fund (FIF) which aims to strengthen the global health architecture to fight the pandemic in the future.
