CIGMark Survey: Ridwan Kamil's Electability Skyrockets In West Java, Unggali Prabowo And Anies
JAKARTA - Ridwan Kamil is at the top of the CiGMark Survey Institute survey regarding the most popular 2024 presidential election candidates in West Java. Below him, Prabowo Subianto and former DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan competed fiercely.
"For the context of the 2024 presidential election contestation, RK [Ridwan Kalim] and Prabowo Subianto are very popular figures in West Java," said CiGMark CEO Panca Pratama in his statement, quoted on Monday, November 14.
Panca added that respondents who like Ridwan Kamil also reached 97.2 percent higher than other figures. "Meanwhile, the percentage of their preference for Prabowo is at 75.7 percent," he said.
Furthermore, CiGMark also noted that competition was quite tight between Ridwan Kamil, Prabowo, and Anies when respondents were asked the appropriateness of the three as president. Panca detailed that 35.3 percent of West Java's people think Ridwan Kamil is very suitable as president.
"Meanwhile Prabowo has 18.4 percent support and Anies is in third place with 14 percent support," said Panca.
Meanwhile, when asked an open question, the majority of respondents chose Ridwan Kamil to become President. Meanwhile, Prabowo Subianto is in second place; Anies is in third position; and Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo is in fourth position.
As for names that have the potential to run as vice president, the names Ridwan Kamil are also in the top position ahead of Anies Baswedan, Sandiaga Uno, and Ganjar Pranowo.
The support from this respondent was due to his track record. Ridwan Kamil is considered to have succeeded in bringing change during his tenure as Mayor of Bandung and Governor of West Java.
"For the position of vice president based on open questions, RK remains highest, even higher when compared to support based on open questions for the position of president," he said.
The CiGMark Survey Institute survey was conducted on September 12-18 and was attended by 825 respondents. Meanwhile, data collection uses a multistage random sampling method with a margin of error of 3.48 percent and a confidence level of 95 percent.
