This Is Toprak Said Razgatlioglu After Losing The World Superbike Champions' Title At The Mandalika Circuit

Toprak Razgatlioglu said he was happy to win three MotulWorld Superbike (WSBK) 2022 races at the Mandalika Circuit, Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), 12-13 November even though he had to be willing to crown the world champion to move to AlvaroBautista.

The Yamaha PATA Team racer is happy and proud to be able to present this victory hat trick in front of his audience and supporters in Indonesia.

"Of course I am still happy because in this Muslim country I can win 3 times. This is extraordinary for me. And right, we lost the title. However, as we all know, I didn't catch up. I'm just trying to win," said the Turkish racer after the race at the Mandalika Circuit, Sunday. The three wins won by the defending champion were the champion in Race 1, Superpole Race and Race 2. However, his performance could not stop Bautista from winning the WSBK world title after finishing P2 in Race 2.

"Alhamdulillah, we were able to win three wins. This is the weekend for this year and thank all the fans for yesterday, I don't see many fans, but today there are many who come," he added, as quoted by Antara.

Razgatlioglu also thanked the audience who came to the Mandalika Circuit for their presence giving encouragement to get the best results.

"Thank you for coming. Seeing so many people, I'm more powerful because you know, I'm also a Muslim. And it gives me energy, so thank you for coming," Razgatlioglu said at a press conference after the race.

On that occasion, Razgatlioglu also congratulated Bautista and Ducati.

Bautista currently leads with 553 points. While Razgatlioglu is in second place with 487 points, followed by Jonathan Rea from Kawasaki in third place. Although there is still one more series left at the Phillip Island Circuit, Australia, Bautista will certainly not be displaced from the top of the standings.
